Dear BEST Fund supporters, 

With the recent resurgence of COVID-19, on July 30th, 2021 the Shaanxi Provincial Government delivered an official announcement to all the students and teachers to cancel their extra curricular activities outside of Shaanxi. 

After promptly communicating with the Madao Primary School, Liuba Education Bureau and GIRAFFE, we deeply regret to announce the postponement of the 12th and 13th BEST Fund English Summer Camp in Shanghai. 

We understand that some of the kids and teachers who were supposed to go to Shanghai in 2020 

were eagerly looking forward to going this year with the schoolmates and teachers selected for the 13th BEST Fund English Summer Camp. 

Our priority beyond welfare and education is the safety of the students and their teachers. 

We would like to extend our sincere appreciations to the team members of the Madao Primary School, Liuba Education Bureau and the efforts made by the BEST Fund team and volunteers, and we are all looking forward to resuming the BEST Fund English Summer Camp when the conditions of the epidemic allows us to do so. Stay tuned.
