It is with great honor that Lighting Design Partnership International (China Branch) has received the Silver A’ Design Award for the "Lighting Products and Lighting Projects Design" category for the New Century Resort Shiqifang. This achievement also recognizes the continuous support and cooperation with the rest of the project team: Ningbo New Century Resort Shiqifang Company (owner), South Design (architectural design), China Academy of Art (landscape design) and all the other consultants.

Project: The New Century Resort Shiqifang was opened in June 2014. It located in Xiepu, a small coastal town in the Zhenhai District of Ningbo, China. Covering an area of 50,000㎡，it was built on an ancient architectural complex named Zhengshi Shiqifang and has a building area of about 40,000㎡ with 6 guestroom sections and 116 guestrooms. Being the largest and most intact ancient architectural community of the Ming and Qing dynasties in China with Ma Tau wall, traditional Chinese courtyards, ancestral halls, opera stages, stone alleys and old houses, this complex is a cultural treasure of the Zhejiang Province.

A’ Design Award & Competition (adesignaward.com) is the world’s largest and most diffused international design awards. Entries were carefully evaluated by an internationally influential jury panel composed of established scholars, prominent press members, creative design professionals and experienced entrepreneurs who devoted great care and attention to details while voting each entry.
