The 8th Lighting Conference of China, Japan and Korea (CJK2015) took place in Kyoto Women's University, Japan from August 20 to August 21, 2015.

It was a jointly sponsored event by the Chinese Illuminating Engineering Society (CIES), Illuminating Engineering Institute of Japan (IEIJ), and Korean Institute of Illuminating and Electrical Installation Engineers (KIIEE), and hosted by IEIJ.

More than 200 people came to this conference (industry practitioners, engineers, graduate students, academic researchers...) to discuss its theme "Creating Comfortable Lighting Environment".

LDPi's academic paper was selected by the CIES and used the award winning Beijing Jinyu Vanke Plaza as "A case study on balancing necessary public lighting and optional decorative lighting towards a responsible design".

We look forward to attending the next CJK2016 in Pusan, Korea.
