The art of lighting dialogue. Creativity Lights Beijing.
The existence of light has long been ignored by most people. The art form of light needs to be re-examined. Based on the success of the 2010 “Creativity Lights Beijing” International Lighting Art Festival, LDPi is co-organizing the 2011 edition with the theme " Light and Things " in the evenings from September 22nd to September 28th, 2011 at the Beijing Ditan Park.
Exhibiting artworks of designers from different countries, across fields of lighting design, architectural design and interior design, merged across boundaries to create about 30 lighting art installations full of unique design and exquisite craftsmanship. The work mainly uses LED products as the medium, combines solar energy, interactive sensors and projection technology. It reflects the role and reaction of society, environment, culture, human thought and ideology by reflecting on the relationship between "Light and Things", representing the designers’ perception and experience of light. While the designers intend to show the charm of light and shadow, they also invite the viewers to think. The application of more interactive technologies invites the public to participate in the works and enjoy the fun brought by lighting.
This year's lighting festival not only brought together Beijing's top design forces, but also invited well-known designers from Japan, the United States, Singapore, Iran, Taiwan, Shanghai, Fujian and other regions to closely integrate with the lighting art from their respective professional fields to produce different "combined lighting" effects.
Not only does light exist to meet lighting needs, but it can also interact with the public for fun. As the irreversible future trend of the lighting industry, the development of LEDs can achieve more flexible art forms. Its low-voltage combined with sensors can provide a safe interaction with the audience to experience the wonder and joy of technology by the modern lighting.
"Creativity Lights Beijing" International Lighting Art Festival looks forward to your arrival to enjoy together the charming world of "Light and Things"!
